NCT, Stray Kids, BTS, & More, K-Pop Boy Group Brand Ranking For This May

The popularity of a K-pop group is usually measured by their brand reputation, which is tallied per month. Recently, The Korean Business Research Institute finally dropped the month of May's brand reputation rankings for male K-pop boy groups, and it is filled with talented K-pop boy groups.

As always, the brand rankings were calculated via an analysis of the participation of consumers, popularity in media, interaction with fans and netizens, and community indexes of multiple K-pop boy groups. The indexes use a huge amount of data which were collected from the 8th of April until the 8th of May.

Here are the top 30 K-pop boy groups in terms of brand ranking this month of May:

Around Us Entertainment's Highlight amazingly rose to the 4th spot as they have a brand reputation index of 2,902,185. This means that Highlight had a remarkable 3,550.27 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April. 

Pledis Entertainment's SEVENTEEN was able to maintain their previous spot at third place with a brand reputation index of 3,215,092 for the month of May.

SM Entertainment's NCT was also able to remain in their spot, being #2 for eight months consecutively now. NCT was able to garner a brand reputation index of 3,482,324 for this May.

HYBE's (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) BTS is once again #1 for the 36 straight months with a brand reputation index of 13,630,137 this month.
