Mnet’s ‘Kingdom’ Update! THE BOYZ Negative For Coronavirus But Juyeon To Self-Isolate
On the 6th of May, SPOTV News reported that a dancer who was performing with the members of K-pop boy groups on Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War", iKON, THE BOYZ, and SF9 for a collaboration stage among the groups was tested positive for COVID-19.
Confirming the alleged reports, Mnet shared, "A dancer who participated in the 'Kingdom' recording on the 4th of May was diagnosed with COVID-19. We received this news just today on the 6th of May."
To further expound the situation, Mnet shared the following statement:
"An epidemiologic investigation is currently being carried out. According to our internal assessment, there seem to be no cast members or staff members who came in close contact with the backup dancer. Not only iKON, THE BOYZ, and SF9, who performed with the backup dancer, but all cast members, including BTOB, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ, as well as all of the production crew and staff members, are receiving preemptive testing. As we receive the results and guidelines, we will diligently adhere to them and cooperate."
JYP Entertainment has dropped updates confirming that all members of Stray Kids, alongside their staff, were negative with COVID-19. Ultimately good news that will surely put netizens and fans at some ease.
Moreover, another "Kingdom" participant has tested negative for COVID-19. It has been confirmed that THE BOYZ have all tested negative for COVID-19. But THE BOYZ member Juyeon will be in self-isolation due to him being confirmed to be in close contact with the dancer.
As per The Fact, THE BOYZ all tested negative for COVID-19 due to them being immediately getting tested for safety measures after a backup dancer from Mnet's "Kingdom" was positive for the virus.
