Red Velvet's Wendy

Red Velvet's Wendy had previously had an unfortunate accident in December of 2019. Due to this, the Red Velvet vocalist had to take a hiatus for her recovery and well-being.

SM Entertainment's Red Velvet and Reveluvs missed Wendy during her absence, but she recently had an impressive and explosive comeback with her debut solo single, "Like Water," and everyone loved that.

Red Velvet's Wendy has come back with a bang as she has already claimed multiple new laurels under her solo career and, with her return, brings a possibility of a Red Velvet comeback

Beyond that, Red Velvet's Wendy once again shows her popularity and drive as she becomes a representative for a heartwarming campaign.

Red Velvet's vocalist, Wendy, recently has been chosen as the representative of South Korea for Spotify's new campaign called EQUAL.

Spotify's EQUAL campaign is aiming to help promote equality for women in the music industry and celebrate their contributions and laurels. For Spotify's EQUALcampaign, Spotify will be picking a female artist or girl group each month to represent various countries as the "EQUAL Artists of the Month."

Previously on the 30th of April, Spotify dropped its initial playlist for the EQUAL campaign, and Red Velvet's Wendy was picked as the South Korea representative with her latest solo song entitled "Like Water."

Red Velvet's Wendy now joins musical entertainers such as Zoe Wees (Germany), the group CHAI (Japan), and Celeste (England).

Spotify, the music streaming platform, will keep dropping playlists for each country, and for South Korea's playlist, it includes songs from IUSM Entertainment's aespaP NATION's JessiJYP Entertainment's TWICERBW's MAMAMOO, and multiple other female South Korean artists.

Red Velvet's Wendy is an amazing choice for the campaign as she is one of the most popular K-pop idols under SM Entertainment presently.
