Stray Kids Announce 2026 World Tour, New Album and 'RUN IT' Single
At midnight KST on June 22, JYP Entertainment released a teaser for "Run It" - Stray Kids' first music in seven months - and announced, in the same post, that a full album called This & That would follow on August 7, and that a new world tour of the same name was coming. No slow build. No separate announcements spaced across weeks. One midnight drop, three reveals.
"Run It" lands tomorrow, June 24, at 1 p.m. KST. The teaser places all eight members - Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N - in black-and-white industrial and desert settings, styled as what JYP's visual language has been calling "vanguards." The music video drops with the single. This & That, the full eight-track album, follows six weeks later.
The timing is specific. Stray Kids headlined New York's Governors Ball on June 6 - the first K-pop act to top the main stage of that festival - and are scheduled for Rock in Rio in Brazil in September. Their own festival, STRAYCITY, is planned across three Latin American cities in the same month. The "Run It" rollout drops into that festival circuit at its peak: a single tomorrow, an album in August as the South American run begins, a tour announcement that has no dates yet but whose scale is already implied by the infrastructure being assembled around it.
The commercial baseline is established. Their previous world tour, dominATE, concluded in October 2025 with 56 shows across 35 cities and approximately $185.7 million in revenue, according to Billboard Boxscore data. The Do It mixtape that followed in November debuted with 2.2 million copies sold in its opening week. This & That will be the group's first proper album of 2026 - nine months after Do It - and the first since eight consecutive albums entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, a streak no other K-pop act has matched.
The "Run It" world tour has no confirmed dates, cities, or regions as of today. JYP's standard rollout for Stray Kids has typically placed tour dates 6-8 weeks after an album announcement. August 7 plus six weeks puts the first date window in mid-to-late September - consistent with the Rock in Rio appearance and the Latin American festival dates already on the calendar. The KSPO Dome in Seoul has four dates blocked for July 25, 26, 29 and August 1-2 on the 2026 tour masterlist, suggesting the domestic leg is already in motion even without a formal announcement.
3RACHA - Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han - have produced and written across every Stray Kids album. Whether "Run It" represents a new sonic direction or a continuation of the harder, industrial textures of Do It will be audible tomorrow at 1 p.m. KST.
