GOT7’s Jackson Wang Assures Fans He Will Continue Doing Activities In South Korea
GOT7 is a K-pop boy group that debuted on the 16th of January 2014 under the South Korean entertainment company JYP Entertainment.
The K-pop boy group consists of 7 members. The 7 members being Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom. The exclusive contracts of the members of GOT7 expired in January this year, and they decided not to renew.
Each member, although still together as a group, is now focussing on their solo careers. Due to this, fans have been worried if GOT7 will still regularly promote and release as a group. To assure fans, GOT7's Jackson Wang gave a message to his fans via Harper's Bazaar magazine.
Jackson Wang, along with his fellow GOT7 members, left JYP Entertainment after their exclusive contracts expired, as mentioned above. Since then, Jackson Wang's own team, Team Wang, has been operating Jackson's international activities.
Moreover, there have been reports linking GOT7's Jackson has also partnered with the company; Sublime Artist Agency. This was later confirmed on the 22nd of January.
Fast forward to the present day, GOT7's very own Jackson was featured in a black-and-white photoshoot for the magazine Harper's Bazaar.
In the photoshoot, Jackson showcased his mature side, being able to pose seriously while dressed in fashionable attire.
Aside from being featured in a photo shoot, there was also an exclusive interview. In the interview, GOT7's Jackson shared how he felt working as a solo artist.
Before anything else, he started off by assuring fans by saying, "GOT7 will continue, and nothing has changed. Before, I had to do solo activities, team activities, and company management in 24 hours, but now, I just have a bit more leeway. I think I'll finally release an album in Korea this year. I want to do well. After all, I became a singer in Korea."
Ahgases have nothing to worry about with regards to releases under GOT7 since multiple members have already shared that they will continue to promote as a group regardless of doing solo activities.
