Has PSY signed GOT7's Jay B under his company, P NATION?
On the 29th of October, 2018, internationally acclaimed singer of the viral hit "GANGNAM STYLE" and "GENTLEMAN," PSY, founded P NATION; his own South Korean record label and entertainment agency.
Two months after creating his own company, PSY signed his very first artist, Korean-American rapper, Jessi on the 25th of January, 2019.
Immediately after signing Jessi, two days later, on the 27th of January, 2019, PSY then went on to sign Hyuna, formerly of 4MINUTE and Dawn, formerly of Pentagon.
Six months after that, PSY then went on to sign South Korean R&B and hip hop singer, Crush, on the 17th of July, 2019. Heize, a noted South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, composer, and producer, was then signed on by PSY on the 16th of September, 2020.
P NATION's most recent signing was on the 30th of December, 2020. The artist is the South Korean-Chinese rapper, D.Ark.
Essentially, this means that PSY's P NATION currently has the following artists under their label: PSY himself, Jessi, Hyuna, Dawn, Crush, Heize, and D. Ark, amounting to a total of seven artists. But recently, it seems as though another artist is joining the ranks of P NATION.
As per reports, P NATION has recently signed a new artist under the South Korean agency.
On the 19th of April, 10:44 AM Korean Standard Time, PSY's P NATION posted on their official Twitter page an announcement with regards to a new addition of a new artist coming to the company.
The teaser contains PSY himself, dressed in a fancy suit, as he seems to be sitting at a front desk of a hotel lobby. The hashtag "#newartist" is the only caption on the teaser. Moreover, in the image, "P NATION NEW ARTIST" is also written. Beyond that, the teaser does not offer any additional hints or clues as to who the newly signed artist under P NATION could be.
Although the identity has not yet been revealed, netizens are already speculating on who they think it is. Fans believe that it is GOT7's very own Jay B.
Signing GOT7's Jay B under P NATION would be an incredible pick-up for PSY.
