Has CLC Disbanded? Yujin Recently Tearfully Shared A Heart-Breaking Revelation In 'Girls Planet 999'
As of writing this article, CLC at present consists of 6 members. The members being Seungyeon, Seunghee, Yujin, Sorn, Yeeun, and Eunbin. The K-pop girl group made their debut in the K-pop industry 6 years ago on the 19th of March, 2015, under the agency Cube Entertainment.
Unfortunately, last year on the 30th of December, 2020, Elkie went on her Instagram revealing that she requested her contract with Cube Entertainment be terminated.
On the 3rd of February this year, Cube Entertainment granted her request and it was announced that Elkie left the group and agency.
CLC's last comeback was last year on the 2nd of September, 2020. But that might be the last time Cube Entertainment's release a comeback as a complete K-pop girl group.
CLC's Yujin recently joined Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" and as of writing this article, she is currently ranked 6th among all the Korean trainees on the survival show. This means that Yujin is part of the 'Planet Top 9'. But beyond this good news, it seems as though Yujin has sad tidings for fans of CLC.
On the most recent episode of Mnet's survival show called "Girls Planet 999," CLC's Yujin went on to reveal a grim possibility regarding CLC's activities moving forward.
"Our label said our team wouldn't have any more activities. I really gave my all to CLC. Our concept was mainly a tough girl style, so I felt like I was invisible on stage. I still want to sing. Through this show, I want to show off my charms and different sides of myself. I know I can do it," CLC's Yujin admitted tearfully.
Netizens, Cheshires (the fandom name of CLC), and viewers were truly in shock after hearing what Yujin revealed regarding CLC's future.
As of writing this article, Cube Entertainment has not yet released a statement regarding CLC's future.
