Netizens Upset As CLC’s Yujin Receives Disrespect From 'Girls Planet 999' Trainee Fu Yaning
Not long ago, CLC's very own Yujin was confirmed via reports to be joining Mnet's new survival program, "Girls Planet 999." Netizens were excited as Yujin is already known in the K-pop industry for being a part of CLC.
But it seems as though the K-pop idol was 'dissed' in a preview of Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" and both fans and netizens did not take it lightly. In a recent preview that was uploaded on the YouTube channel of Mnet, CLC's Yujin was being 'dissed' by Fu Yaning, a Chinese trainee.
Specifically, when Chinese Trainee Fu Yaning was asked if she has any words for CLC's Yujin, Fu Yaning responded by pointing and then singing, "We go up...but you don't." This was seen as disrespectful by most viewers.
Following this, the exact moment Fu Yaning said these lines, the expressions of Tiffany and Sunmi, both mentors of "GirlsnPlanet 999" drastically changed. This was not surprising as although this is a competition, the Chinese trainee seemed to take it a step too far.
Beyond the reaction of Tiffany and Sunmi, the other contestants were also in disbelief. Upon hearing this, the other participants immediately looked on with shock and some even covered their mouths just because they could not believe what was said.
Notably, it seems that the Chinese trainee was not yet done as in a voice-over, Fu Yaning could be heard saying, "I'll conquer all 99 girls."
Following this, CLC's Yujin decided to take the high road and chose to keep quiet. But although this was the case, Yujin looked uncomfortable and was not happy at all.
As mentioned above, viewers were not happy with what Fu Yaning said, noting that the trainee was taking everything a bit too far.
Regardless, one thing is for sure, Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" is starting to heat up.
