CONFIRMED! Red Velvet’s Joy To Star In Upcoming K-Drama With Ahn Eun-Jin & Park Sung-Hoon
Reveluvs have been waiting for a Red Velvet comeback for almost around two years now. Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri are now immensely missed by their fans. Any output of SM Entertainment's Red Velvet releases will always be welcomed.
As per reports, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet will possibly have a comeback in June or July. But for the meantime, a Red Velvet member has recently been confirmed to be part of an upcoming K-drama.
JTBC's upcoming drama entitled "Just One Person" has recently confirmed its main cast and netizens are in for a treat.
A month ago in April, Red Velvet's Joy, Ahn Eun Jin, and Park Sung Hoon, were speculated to be in talks to star in a K-drama under JTBC.
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 20th of May, it was finally confirmed that all the aforementioned actors will be starring in JYVC's K-drama. Red Velvet's Joy, Ahn Eun Jin, and Park Sung Hoon will also be accompanied by South Korean actress Go Doo Shim.
JTBC's "Just One Person" is slated to be a romantic K-drama revolving around a terminally ill woman and a man with a hard life. The two get involved with one another due to a case revolving around a murder. Eventually, the two become the most important person in each other's lives.
Pyo In Sook, the terminally ill woman, will be played by Ahn Eun Jin. Ahn Eun Jin's character is somewhat insensitive and has never had a sense of belonging. It is speculated that Park Sung Hoon will be playing the character of a Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency inspector named Jo Si Young.
Red Velvet's Joy will then play a popular influencer in the K-drama named Sung Mi Do.
The upcoming JTBC K-drama starring Red Velvet's Joy will be containing 16 episodes and will be written by Moon Jung Min and directed by Oh Hyun Jong, the same director as "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," "Two Cops," and "Find Me in Your Memory."
Red Velvet's Joy's upcoming "Just One Person" is projected to premiere in December.
