The popularity of a K-pop girl group really gets rolling once they debut on the Billboard Global 200. The Billboard Global 200 is a music chart that ranks the most popular songs globally. The chart is based on both digital sales and virtual streaming in approximately 200 countries online.

Recently, JYP Entertainment's ITZY is the newest female K-pop group to enter the Billboard 200 chart with their latest comeback, "GUESS WHO." ITZY's EP debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at the 148th spot.

Moreover, ITZY's "GUESS WHO" sits at the number as the highest-peaking album to enter the Billboard 200 chart from a Korean female entertainer. Not only that, this makes ITZY the eighth K-pop girl group to appear on the Billboard 200 chart.

In addition, ITZY's "GUESS WHO" placed at the 164th spot in Rolling Stone's Top 200 chart. ITZY's most recent title song, "Mafia in the Morning," also entered the ranks at the 56th spot in Spotify's Global Top 200 Chart. Amazingly, this is ITZY's highest place on Spotify's chart ever since its debut.

Aside from ITZY, as mentioned above, there are multiple other K-pop girl groups that have charted on the Billboard 200. Some even enter the chart with multiple albums.
