ITZY

April fools is usually a day for pranks and Jokes, but recently, Forbes published a very serious article on K-pop groups or idols who made recent strides in the industry, more particularly being on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart.

On April 1, Forbes released an article about five entertainers who made "essential moves" on the recent Billboard chart ranking. Excitingly, four of the five entertainers were K-pop groups and idols. Here are the K-pop groups featured:

KQ Entertainment's ATEEZ

ATEEZ's new single entitled "Still Here" debuts at the 24th spot on this week's Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Usually, Japanese songs made by K-pop artists do not usually make this chart, but ATEEZ was able to do it, making this a very big milestone.

Moreover, it was noted by Forbes that ATEEZ almost didn't make it to this week's Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, but luckily, they were able to do it.

131 Label's (and former iKon member) B.I

K-pop soloist, B.I, was able to enter three songs on this week's Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Forbes noticed that B.I's songs ranked on the chart not far from one another.

Among the three tracks, B.I's title song "Midnight Blue," was able to debut at no. 14 while B.I's other two tracks on the chart are "Blossom," which ranked at the 17th spot, and "Remember Me," which is on the 18th.

JYP Entertainment's ITZY

Forbes shared that ITZY's latest song, "Trust Me," is only one of the two tracks by ITZY to be on the chart. The other song is "Cherry," which in August of 2019 peaked at the 23rd spot.

ITZY's song, "Trust Me," which is dedicated to MIDZYs, dropped on March 20 and was ranked at no. 11 on the most recent World Digital Song Sales chart.

Previously in 2019, ITZY's other songs, "DALLA DALLA," "ICY," "WANNABE," "Not Shy," and "WANT IT?" entered the chart among the top 10. As of writing this article, JYP ITZY's most high-ranking track is their song, "DALLA DALLA," numbering at number 2.

HYBE's (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) BTS

Being the longest to stay on the charts, Forbes pointed out that BTS's song "Filter" has been on the chart for 54 weeks regardless of being released in February of 2020.

BTS' "Filter" ranks at the 9th spot on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
