Your Personal Taxi Netflix: Cast, Release Date, Episodes
All eight episodes of Your Personal Taxi, a music drama starring Cha Tae-hyun, were released today, Oct. 1, on Netflix and Japan's FOD. Soompi lists the drop at 8 p.m. KST, which is 7 a.m. ET.
The series is set in a taxi that takes only reservations. Each passenger's story plays out to a song they request, according to The Korea Herald. Cha leads a cast that includes Joo Jong-hyuk, Lim Se-mi and Kwak Yoon-gy, an Olympic medalist in short-track speed skating. MyDramaList also lists Lee Jae-in, Lee Yun-hee, Oh My Girl's Mimi and Hyun Bong-sik, and describes the passengers as an amusement-park mascot worker, a lonely night runner, a bread-loving traveler and a forgotten actress. The show is adapted from the webtoon Personal Taxi by Mose Lee. MyDramaList News earlier described it as Cha's return to a drama lead after three years, a claim the production has not repeated in its own materials.
The series has one festival credit before its streaming debut. It is the first drama series invited to the official program of the Jecheon International Music and Film Festival, which was founded in 2005 and ran its 2026 edition from Sept. 3, The Korea Herald reported.
The release format separates it from most of Netflix's Korean slate this month. Your Personal Taxi arrives as a single full-season drop. Other October Korean titles run on a weekly schedule. Netflix lists Doctor X from Oct. 9, with new episodes on Fridays and Saturdays, and tvN's 100 Days of Deception begins Oct. 10. Take Charge of My Heart is the other all-at-once release, also on Oct. 9, per Soompi.
Because the show landed in the week of Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, Netflix's first weekly Top 10 data covering it should post Tuesday, Oct. 6. Until then, no viewership figures exist for the series, and Netflix has not announced whether it is planning a second season or a sequel of any kind.
For viewers outside Korea, the practical details are short. It streams on Netflix worldwide, per The Korea Herald's description of a global premiere. The Korea Herald's report did not give per-episode runtimes, and MyDramaList's listing of roughly 30 minutes is user-edited, so treat that figure as unconfirmed.
Next on Netflix's October calendar, Doctor X and Take Charge of My Heart both arrive Oct. 9, a week after this release.
