All Eyes On God Jihyo As TWICE’s Leader Gears Up For Performance Project
JYP Entertainment's third-gen female K-pop group, TWICE, is one of the hottest K-pop girl groups in South Korea and internationally.
Since TWICE's debut, they have been breaking records, winning awards, and topping charts in all corners of the industry, both locally and internationally.
With their iconic JYP dance prowess along with TWICE's charming personality and strong vocals, TWICE will continue rising to the top for years to come with their almost guaranteed hit songs.
Beyond TWICE's comebacks, JYP Entertainment's third-generation K-pop girl group also has had individual and sub-group releases that flex their member's individual talent. These releases are dubbed as "Melody Projects" and are usually posted on their official YouTube channel.
Currently, as of writing this article, TWICE has released six melody projects and one performance project.
TWICE's first melody project starred Chaeyoung, Mina, and Sana and was released in that order. The next two members who were featured in melody projects were TWICE's Jihyo and Nayeon.
Previously, DUBCHAENG (a duo composed of Dahyun and Chaeyoung) released the 6th melody project from TWICE: a cover of JY Park and Rain's song entitled "Switch to me."
In addition, TWICE released another project video on their YouTube, a performance project starring their very own main dancer, Momo.
A while back, it was confirmed that another member of TWICE, their maknae, Tzuyu, will also be releasing a melody project, but due to unforeseen happenings, it has gotten delayed.
As ONCEs anticipated Tzuyu's melody project, JYP Entertainment came out of nowhere and uploaded a teaser for Jihyo's performance project, making it TWICE's second performance project behind Momo.
TWICE's Jihyo's teaser for her performance project was uploaded on the 16th of March and lasted for 25 seconds. The TWICE leader is showcasing her prowess in dancing alongside her amazing facial expressions.
Jihyo's performance project will drop on the 19th of May, 12 a.m. KST and ONCEs are excited to see TWICE's God Jihyo in action.
