DAY6’s Wonpil & Block B’s P.O Officially Enlists In The Military To Begin Mandatory Service!

Netizens and K-pop fans were recently given the news that DAY6's Wonpil and Block B's P.O have officially enlisted in the Korean military for their mandatory military service!

On the 28th of March, Block B's P.O went on to enlist in the Marine Corps, while DAY6's Wonpil enlisted in the navy. Both stars are the last of their respective boy group to enlist in the military. Notably, for safety reasons due to the COVID-19 virus, the two K-pop idols enlisted in secret.

Block B's P.O reportedly continued filming for tvN's "Amazing Saturday" until his recent enlistment. On his personal page Instagram ran by his agency,  Block B's P.O posted a photo of him enlisting with his new buzz cut hairstyle. 

The K-pop idol captioned his post: "Come back safely, our Ji Hoon (P.O's real name)." After seven weeks of training, he will officially join the Marine Corps.

Furthermore, DAY's Wonpil had his solo concert the previous weekend and during his concert, Wonpil told netizens and K-pop fans that he will treasure the precious support he has been given with his heart, promising he would come back unscathed.

On the Instagram page of DAY6, Wonpil uploaded photos where he was enlisting and had the caption: "We will bravely overcome the hiatus. That's My Day (DAY6's official fan club) and Wonpil, right? I'll be back."
