IU, NCT, EXO, & More, K-Pop Artists Who Won Big At The 31st Seoul Music Awards!
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 23rd of January, the 31st Seoul Music Awards took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome.

Similar to the Seoul Music Awards in 2021, the 31st Seoul Music Awards awarded a single Daesang (aka the Grand Prize) and separate Best Album and Best Song Award, which made fans cheer more.
The 31st Seoul Music Awards was hosted by Kim Sung Joo, Boom, and AOA's Seolhyun.
The artists who took home wins at the 31st Seoul Music Awards are as follows:
Rookie of the Year: Lee Mujin, OMEGA X, EPEX
Special Jury Award: Jung Dong Ha
U+ Idol Live Best Artist Award: BTS
K-Wave Award (outside of Korea): EXO
Popularity Award (Korea): Lim Young Woong
Discovery of the Year: Lang Lee
R&B/Hip Hop Award: HyunA
Ballad Award: Red Velvet's Wendy
Trot Award: Lim Young Woong
OST Award: Lim Young Woong
Best Performance Award: STAYC, ENHYPEN
Bonsang (Main Award): ENHYPEN, Heize, Brave Girls, Oh My Girl, Kang Daniel, aespa, ATEEZ, NCT 127, THE BOYZ, Lim Young Woong, BTS, SEVENTEEN, IU
World Best Artist Award: BTS
Best Song Award: IU
Best Album Award: NCT DREAM
Daesang (Grand Prize): NCT 127
SM Entertainment's NCT went home with huge smiles as the K-pop group's sub-units won big. Notably, NCT 127 won the Daesang and the Bonsang (Main Award) awards and NCT DREAM won the Best Album award!
Furthermore, K-pop queen IU won the Best Song Awards and HYBE's BTS took home the World Best Artist Award as well as the U+ Idol Live Best Artist Award. Both IU and BTS also took home Bonsangs.
Trot singer Lim Young Woong was able to tally the most total wins of any artist as he won the OST Award, Trot Award, Popularity Award (Korea), and a Bonsang.
