EXO-Ls Take Over Twitter As EXO Is Still The Most Awarded Artist At The SMAs!
As of writing this article, today on the 17th of January, EXO took over Twitter with a plethora of related hashtags as EXO-Ls, the fans of the SM Entertainment K-pop boy group, celebrated EXO's most recent historic milestone.

Specifically, EXO attained another record for the 2021 Seoul Music Awards (SMA). The 2021 SMAs will be the 31st of its kind and will occur at the Gocheok Sky Dome this 23rd of January. Korean musical artists and K-pop stars will be taking home a myriad of awards at the event.
Aside from the main awards such as the Daesang (Grand Prize) and Bonsang (Main Prize), special awards will be handed out at the Seoul Music Awards such as the "Popularity Award" and the K-pop award, the "K-Wave Special Award." Hence why EXO fans went all out.
Notably, the "Popularity Award" is chosen only by local fans, the "K-Wave Special Award" was given to the top-voted artist by international fans and the fandom of EXO pulled all the strings.
The EXO-Ls of EXO showed their supremacy as the SM Entertainment K-pop boy group earned first place due to an overwhelming 9,363,937 votes on the last day of voting.
To celebrate this, the hashtags, "#DONT_FIGHT_THE_FEELING," "#SUHO," "#EXO_WINNING_SMA_KWAVE," "#weareoneEXO "and other EXO related hashtags took over Twitter's Top 10 trends.

Additionally, this is a huge deal in K-pop as EXO's upcoming "K-Wave Special Award" will be their fourth "K-Wave Special Award" as they also previously won in the years 2015, 2017 to 2019.
Notably, SM Entertainment's EXO also held on to their title as the most-awarded artists at the Seoul Music Awards, now having 23 trophies under their K-pop belt.
