BTS, IU, NCT, & More, K-Pop Artists Who Won The Most Music Show Awards This Year!
Music show wins are always an amazing feat to be earned by K-pop artists, and this year, these K-pop groups and soloists won the most!
#6 ITZY and SEVENTEEN with 8 music show wins each
JYP Entertainment's ITZY won a total of 8 music show awards, now tallying 42 total awards. Five of ITZY's awards went to "Mafia in the Morning," and three went to "LOCO"!
SEVENTEEN also won 8 awards, now having a total of 46 wins. Out of their 8 wins, 4 of them went to "Ready To Love," and the other 4 went to "Rock With You"!
#5 Kang Daniel and aespa with 9 music show wins each
Kang Daniel went on to win a total of 9 music show wins this year, now having a total to 19. 4 wins went to "Paranoia," and the remaining five awards went to "Antidote"!
SM Entertainment's aespa proves its dominance by winning 9 music show awards this year. One of the wins went to their debut track, "Black Mamba," while the remaining eight were dubbed towards "Savage"!
#4 THE BOYZ, Brave Girls, and (G)I-DLE with 10 music show wins each
THE BOYZ, Brave Girls, and (G)I-DLE have all shown up this year as they each won 10 music show awards each!
For this year, 5 of their awards were given to "Thrill Ride," and the remaining 5 went to "Maverick." THE BOYZ now has a total of 15 awards since its debut.
For Brave Girls, 7 of their awards went to their hit song "Rollin'" while the other 3 went to "Chi Mat Ba Ram"! Not only has Brave Girls won their first award this year, but they were also able to win all 10 as well.
Although only having one comeback this year as a complete group, (G)I-DLE's 10 awards were all well-deserved. All 10 wins went to "HWAA"! (G)I-DLE now has a total of 28 music show wins.
#3 NCT 127 and NCT DREAM with 13 music show wins each
NCT Subunits, NCT 127, and NCT DREAM both ended up winning 13 music show awards this year!
For NCT 127, 10 wins went to "Sticker" while the remaining 3 went to "Favorite (Vampire)"! and NCT 127 now have a total of 26 overall wins. NCT DREAM, on the other hand, had 7 of their awards given to "Hot Sauce" while the remaining 6 went to "Hello Future." NCT DREAM now has a total of 19 wins.
#2 IU with 27 music show wins
The second soloist to make this list, IU was able to earn 27 music show awards this year, making her win a total of 92 awards. 10 of her wins went to "Celebrity," 9 went to "Lilac," and 8 has been earned by "Strawberry Moon."
#1 BTS with 28 music show wins
BTS made a mark this year as they won a total of 28 wins in 2021, now having a total of 152 music show awards overall. 3 were given to "Life Goes On," 4 went to "Dynamite," 13 was earned by "Butter," and "Permission To Dance" took home the remaining eight.
The six music shows that have been noted on the list are "The Show," "Show Champion," "M Countdown," "Music Bank," "Show! Music Core," and "Inkigayo."
