‘Girls Planet 999’ Elimination Round: 45 Eliminations, Remaining Contestants, Top 9, & More
On the 3rd of September, Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" had their first elimination round and it was completely brutal as the show eliminated 45 contestants, and in the first elimination round the 'cells' either got eliminated together or as a group.
Notably, a 'cell' had three contestants, one of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese origin each. Of the 33 cells, only 17 cells would survive. Of the 99 total contestants, 45 were eliminated at the end of the episode.
"We received 39,360,000 votes from over 164 countries during the past two weeks. The five teams who won last week's Connect Mission will receive a benefit in addition to the global fan votes," Yeo Jin Goo announced.
