Seo Ye Ji Not Attending 57th Baeksang Arts Awards Ceremony, Find Out Why
The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards is fast approaching and with it comes multiple South Korean actors and actresses. Showcasing their talents on various K-dramas and K-movies, many South Korean actors and actresses are anxious and excited to receive their awards.
Among the multiple famous and talented South Korean actors and actresses anticipated to attend the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards is Seo Ye Ji. But recent reports have pointed out that the South Korean actress will not be present in the ceremony.
Not long ago, the South Korean actress Seo Ye Ji had reportedly won an award in the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards in the category of female popularity.
Seo Ye Ji was able to win the award due to her getting more than 780,000 votes which essentially took a little over a week. The votes came both from domestic and global fans.
Due to this, it was only obvious to assume that Seo Ye Ji will surely make an appearance in the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards show.
But, as of writing this article, on the 12th of May, media outlets confirmed that Seo Ye Ji has decided that she will no longer attend the 57th Baeksang Arts Award show for the betterment of her and the Baeksang Arts Awards interests.
Ultimately, Seo Ye Ji made this decision due to her being considerate to the other winners of the show, believing that her recent issues may be placed on the spotlight instead of the event and other award winners.
Moreover, other South Korean actors such as Han Ye Ru, Kim Hee Ae, Kang Ha Neul, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Da Mi, Jung Il Woo, Kwon Yuri, and more have been confirmed to appear in the 57th Baeksang Arts Award show.
The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony, which has been organised by Ilgan Sports and JTBC Plus, will happen on the 13th of May, at Ilsanseo-gu, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Broadcasting live on JTBC, the awards show will start at 9 p.m. KST and will be hosted by Shin Dong-yup and Bae Suzy.
Due to the pandemic, the 57th Baeksang Awards show will not be open to audiences and the public.
