New Variety Show ‘Idol Dictation Contest’ Casts IZ*ONE’s Yena, EXO’s Kai, & More
Netizens and fans of K-pop should be very excited since a new variety show catered to them is releasing soon!
TVING's variety show titled "Idol Dictation Contest" will be a K-pop idol version spin-off of the famous variety show called "Amazing Saturday."
The variety show focuses on the idol cast that will be playing games in order for them to win food from markets around South Korea. Aside from the K-pop idol twist, the variety show will essentially have the same premise of "Amazing Saturday."
TVING's "Idol Dictation Contest" will focus on famous K-pop idols in the K-pop industry. Moreover, the variety show will have the original host of its predecessor, "Amazing Saturday," Boom. Essentially, Boom will host "Idol Dictation Contest" as well.
"Idol Dictation Contest" recently released the list of their K-pop idol cast. Famous K-pop idols such as VIXX's Ravi, EXO's Kai, Lovelyz' Mijoo, Golden Child's Jangjun, SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan, IZ*ONE's Choi Yena, Comedian "idol" Lee Jin Ho, host "idol" Jaejae, and Super Junior's Eunhyuk will be featured on the variety show.
SEVENTEEN's Seungkwan is expected to show his skills in the show, giving more anticipation to the variety show.
Jangjung of Golden Child is also making fans excited alongside IZ*ONE's very own Choi Yena (making a guest appearance on the 146th episode of "Amazing Saturday"), thus giving more personality to the variety show.
Super Junior's Eunhyuk, will also bring his charm and EXO's Kai will also add his own flair to the cast as both are also part of the show.
Lastly, Lovelyz' Mijoo will surely leave a lasting impression since she is quite funny herself.
The cast is full of wonderful personalities and will surely be another hit for netizens, both domestic and international, to enjoy.
The first episode of TVING's variety show, "Idol Dictation Contest", will be broadcasted on the 21st of May.
