SUPER JUNIOR’s ‘House Party’ Just Was Released And It Is Both Fire And Iconic
One of SM Entertainment's legendary male K-Pop groups, Super Junior (popularly referred to as SJ or SuJu as well), is a member of the second-generation of K-pop groups, alongside others like KARA, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, SHINee, SNSD, Big Bang, and more.
SM Entertainment's Super Junior debuted eleven years ago in 2005. The K-pop group has ten active members. Two members left in 2009 and 2015, Han Geng and Kim Kibum, respectively, due to personal reasons.
Now, after Everlasting Friends' long wait, SM Entertainment's Super Junior has finally released their highly anticipated comeback album. The K-pop group released two official concept posters on their official Twitter page to tease their newly released album on the 2nd of March this year.
From the album entitled "The Renaissance," some songs were already released the year prior. The songs entitled "The Melody," "Raining Spell for Love" (Remake ver.), "Burn The Floor," and "Tell Me Baby" were among the songs that were released last year. But to top off their comeback, their premiere song, "House Party," finally dropped its music video yesterday.
In the music video, although entitled "House Party," Super Junior goes around the world and party under the stars. The main and title track of "The Renaissance," "House Party," revolves around the concept of putting aside emotions and plainly having a good time in a "house party."
Additionally, this signifies the 15th anniversary of Super Junior, making the K-pop group fifteen years old now.
It seems as though Super Junior has no plans of slowing down or stopping releases, even though some of the members are already famous individually.
As one of the pioneers of K-pop, Super Juniors have garnered a huge following and still accumulates a lot of fans to this day. This shows how loyal K-pop fans can be, regardless of the age of their idols.
