Vocalist And Face Of (G)I-DLE, Yuqi, Confirmed To Make Solo Debut

(G)I-DLE's Yuqi recently confirmed that she would debut as a solo artist very soon. This makes Yuqi the second member of (G)I-DLE to debut as a solo artist. The first (G)I-DLE member being their leader, Soyeon, who released two solo songs entitled "Jelly" and "Idle Song."
Recently, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi had an interview with NetEase Fashion, and she talked about her plans for the future, more specifically, this year. To everyone's surprise, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi revealed that she has an upcoming solo song.
Neverlands, the fandom of (G)I-DLE, were happily surprised about Yuqi's revelation. The (G)I-DLE happily confirmed her solo debut by saying, "Yes. Let me give you a little spoiler."
(G)I-DLE Yuqi then went on to share that she has been training and preparing for a solo debut song for a long time now. Thus, (G)I-DLE's Yuqi is understandably excited for the world to know about her upcoming solo debut.
Coming from the (G)I-DLE member, Yuqi shared, "I want to let everyone meet a new Yuqi through music."
For the longest time, (G)I-DLE Yuqi's only musical release individually has been an OST for a Chinese variety show and the theme song for a Chinese take on SBS' "Running Man," ZRTG's "Keep Running."
The (G)I-DLE member will be dropping her solo very soon, but no specific details have been dropped yet.
In addition, in the latest episode of Yuqi's KakaoTV reality show entitled "Learn Way," the (G)I-DLE vocalist went on to share that she will be remaining in China up until August of this year, after which she'll continue her career in South Korea with (G)I-DLE.
Speculations point towards (G)I-DLE's Yuqi having a solo debut in Mandarin, her native language. Fans are hoping that Yuqi will also drop an English and Korean version as well.
