No Plans On Slowing Down, IU’s ‘LILAC’ Receives 5th Win On ‘Music Bank’

As of writing this article, on the 16th of April, the most recent episode of the popular South Korean music program, KBS's "Music Bank," once again featured IU and her recent hit song, "LILAC." Alongside the famous K-pop soloist was the recent up-and-comers, Brave Girls, with their viral hit "Rollin'." 

The two candidates were vying for the first spot, and after a tense tallying of votes, IU's "LILAC" got her fifth win on the music show.

IU's "LILAC" got her fifth win over Brave Girl's "Rollin," as the soloist garnered 5,763 points compared to Brave Girls' 5,311. 

Released on the 25th of March, IU's "LILAC" is from her fifth studio album of the same name. IU's "LILAC" became an instant hit and still keeps garnering awards and popularity every day that passes. This win from IU's "LILAC" hits differently as her recent album, "LILAC," is her fifth album.

Congratulations to one of the most popular k-pop soloists today, IU!

Aside from showcasing this week's winner, IU's "LILAC," this week had a very talented list of performers.
