To Promote Her Album ‘LILAC’, IU Did A Charming And Funny Presentation

IU, one of the most famous and influential entertainers in K-pop, recently dropped her fifth studio album entitled "LILAC." This occurred on the 25th of March and had a surreal reaction and support from her fans.

"LILAC" has ten tracks and features a plethora of South Korean singers and rappers.

Now that IU's "LILAC" has dropped, promotions have been rampant even way before the release of the album. Previously, prior to the release of her album, the singer-songwriter, actress, and host posted a video on her official YouTube page to endorse "LILAC" in a very creative, funny, and witty way.

The video, which is 5 minutes and 47 seconds long, consists of IU doing a skit as she dresses up in apparel as if as though she works in an office. Taking up the persona "Lee Ji Dong," IU proceeds to discuss the concept for her then still to be released album "LILAC."

Furthermore, Lee Ji Dong's presentation was purposely colorful and bold. She even purposely used a large size for the font to make it difficult to read.

Lee Ji Dong noted in the "presentation" that "LILAC" is intended to have a flamboyant concept, and so, she intentionally made the presentation somewhat "flamboyant" in her own way. But, to the amusement of the staff who were listening to the presentation, Lee Ji Dong even had a difficult time understanding her own presentation.

As she finished the presentation, Lee Ji Dong noted that during her collegiate years, she used to be in charge of making the PowerPoint Presentation for her group assignments, and she had an easy time, nothing that "I could knock one out in no time."

IU is truly a very talented individual as she seems to play her role very well during the video. At times she is funny, and other times she is serious, a perfect balance that shows how well she can act.
