Free Concert, Label-Wide Album, & More, SM Entertainment Plans On Starting 2022 With A Bang!
As of writing this article, today on the 10th of December, SM Entertainment announced that they would start the new project "SMTOWN 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS" where fans can experience SM Entertainment's metaverse via futuristic content.
Furthermore, next year on the 1st of January, SM Entertainment will also have an online concert entitled "SMTOWN LIVE 2022 : SMCU EXPRESS @KWANGYA" SM's artists will gather in KWANGYA to perform for fans.
Similar to last year, SM Entertainment will stream the concert for free. Fans will be able to enjoy the concert on platforms such as YouTube, Beyond LIVE, LG's U+ IDOL LIVE, and many more.
To add to all of this, for the first time in 10 years, SM Entertainment will drop a special winter album featuring a lot of their artists called "2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS." It will have songs by a plethora of SM artists and will also have special never-before-seen collabs by members of different multiple K-pop groups.
"2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS" will be dropped on the 27th of December and pre-orders for it will begin on the 10th of December.
The lineup of artists for "2021 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU EXPRESS" so far include H.O.T.'s Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and many more.
