K-Drama lovers are in for a treat as A-list actresses Song Hye Kyo, Jun Ji Hyun, and Son Hye Jin are set to make their highly-anticipated return to the small screen in the second half of 2021.

Song Hye Kyo
The "Descendants of the Sun" actress is fully booked for a series of exciting drama projects expected to air within this year. In particular, Song Hye Kyo is taking on the lead role for the upcoming drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up." The SBS drama is set to air on November 12 and is currently in post-production.
For the drama "Now, We Are Breaking Up," Song Hye Kyo will be starring alongside "My Roommate is a Gumiho" star, Jang Ki Yong. She will be portraying the role of Ha Young Eun.
Meanwhile, the Fendi ambassador is also confirmed to lead the drama "The Glory" as Moon Dong Eun. Additionally, various reports also point out that Song Hye Kyo had verbally agreed to appear in director Lee Eung Bok's upcoming mystery thriller drama.
Jun Ji Hyun
Most recently, Jun Ji Hyun wowed fans with her thrilling portrayal as Ashin for the special 92-minute episode of Netflix's "Kingdom: Ashin of the North."
Now fans are looking forward to Jun Ji Hyun's return to the small screen for the drama "Cliffhanger." In the drama that is set to air on October 23, Jun Ji Hyun will be taking on the role of Seo Yi Kang, the top ranger of the Jirisan National Park. Starring alongside Jun Ji Hyun is an all-star cast ensemble including Joo Ji Hoon, Sung Dong Il, and Oh Jung Se.
Son Ye Jin
Since her successful stint portraying the heiress Yoon Se Ri for the drama "Crash Landing On You," Son Ye Jin Has yet to have a small screen comeback. Now, after more than a year of waiting, Son Ye Jin is set to lead the drama "Thirty-Nine."
Taking on the role of successful dermatologist Cha Mi Jo, So Ye Jin will be starring alongside "Hospital Playlist" actress Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Tae Hwan.
The drama "Thirty-Nine" is said to air within the second half of 2021.
