Tiffany Young released "Edge of Calm" at 6 p.m. KST Thursday through Pacific Music Group and its label Pacific Records - her first full-length solo studio album in a career that began with Girls' Generation's 2007 debut. The 11-track record follows "Summer's Not Over," pre-released in May as Young's first Korean-language solo material in roughly a decade, since her 2016 EP "I Just Wanna Dance."

Young took a hands-on role across the project, overseeing concept development, styling, visual direction, and the music video's storyline rather than working solely as the performer. "With 'Edge of Calm,' I stopped asking myself who people expected me to become and started asking who I already was when no one else was looking," she said in a statement. The album's title captures its central tension directly: "Edge" for anticipation and full immersion, "Calm" for the balance and clarity on the other side of it - a framing Young has said runs through the record's arc from vulnerability toward reassurance.

The tracklist includes two features, "Lips Together" with (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and "Lovers" with singer JUNNY, alongside the title track and "Summer's Not Over" in both English and Korean versions. A teaser for the "Edge of Calm" music video, released August 17, paired child actor Choi So-yul with Young across contrasting visuals - open blue fields against a darker, enclosed space - built around the song's theme of finding steadiness inside emotional turmoil rather than escaping it.

The album marks Young's second release under Pacific Music Group following a global 360 partnership announced last year, and the label is positioning her as the flagship artist for its push into the Korean market. That framing gives "Edge of Calm" weight beyond a solo comeback: it's also the first real test of what PMG's Korean expansion looks like in practice.

Young follows the release with the "Edge of Calm" tour, an eight-city run across Asia opening September 12 in Hong Kong, where tickets have been on sale since July 24.
