Fans Show Support As Red Velvet’s Wendy Takes Major Strides In Her Career
SM Entertainment's Red Velvet is slated for a rumored comeback very soon. In the meantime, the members of Red Velvet have been doing their own individual thing.
Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi released their song last year and Irene also made her big screen debut in "Double Patty." On the other end of the spectrum, Red Velvet's Yeri has been busy preparing for a web series.
Red Velvet's Joy is slated to make her solo debut very soon and Reveluvs are very excited since Red Velvet's Wendy, when she returned to the stage earlier this year, also released her solo music projects.
Staying on Wendy, Red Velvet's main vocalist has been recently confirmed to have a major update on her career in the South Korean entertainment industry. Red Velvet's Wendy is probably to be the new DJ of SBS' very own Power FM radio show entitled "Young Street."
The previous DJ of SBS' radio show was Lee Joon. Unfortunately, he stepped down from his position in April of 2020. Since then, "Young Street" has had special guests as DJs.
The special guests being but are not limited to, Lee Jin Hyuk, Jung Da Bin, and Highlight's very own Lee Gi Kwang.
As of writing this article on the 26th of May, as per SPOTV News, Red velvet's Wendy will be the new DJ of SBS' "Young Street." Moreover, the radio show is at present coordinating on when Wendy will have her first live broadcast.
Right after the recent news surfaced, an insider from "Young Street" notably said, "It is true that Red Velvet's Wendy is a strong candidate for the DJ position, but things are still up in the air. We are still in discussions."
Red Velvet's Wendy has had experience as a DJ as she previously hosted JTBC's show entitled "Mystical Record Shop," so Wendy is a great and smart choice for SBS.
