Female K-pop Groups Who Stayed 365 Days on MelOn’s ‘Weekly Chart Top 100’

South Korea's go-to site for music subscription and streaming services, MelOn has been a trusted source of K-pop song chart-toppers since its creation. Thus, MelOn has dropped multiple charts that track South Korea's most popular K-pop songs.

Among the charts, MelOn releases are the "Weekly Chart Top 100," which is updated every seven days. It contains the most famous K-pop songs of the week. Some K-pop songs stay only for a week, but a lot stay longer, even surpassing one year.

Here are the top K-pop girl group songs that have stayed on MelOn's "Weekly Chart Top 100" for a year or more:

#8. Oh My Girl with their track "Dolphin"

Oh My Girl made their debut under WM Entertainment on Apr. 21, 2015. The girl group has since released multiple banger tracks that have topped charts a plethora of times, one notable song being "Dolphin." "Dolphin" made its way to the airwaves on Jul. 5, 2020.

#7. Oh My Girl with their track "NONSTOP"

"NONSTOP" made its debut on Apr. 27, 2020, under Oh My Girl. Currently consisting of seven members being Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Jiho, Binnie, and Arin, Oh My Girl has released multiple hit songs, among them is "NONSTOP."

#6. MAMAMOO with their track "HIP"

Debuting under RBW Entertainment on Jun. 18, 2014, MAMAMOO is now one of the most popular and influential K-pop girl groups to date. They have released a handful of hard-hitting songs, and one of them is their hit track, "HIP," which was dropped on Nov. 14, 2019.

#5. TWICE with their track "Dance The Night Away"

JYP Entertainment's premiere K-pop girl group, TWICE, made its debut on Oct. 20, 2015. Since then, the K-pop girl group has been on a tear, topping most charts on every release. Among those hit songs was their Jul. 9, 2018 release, "Dance The Night Away."

#4. Red Velvet with their track "Red Flavor"

Red Velvet is SM Entertainment's five-member K-pop girl group that made its debut on Aug. 1, 2014. Red Velvet is commended for its undeniable visuals and almost flawless discography. Among their most memorable songs is "Red Flavor," which was released on Jul. 9, 2017. This is also arguably Red Velvet's most famous song.

#3. BLACKPINK with their track "As If It's Your Last"

YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK is a household name internationally by now, being active for almost five years now, debuting on Aug. 8, 2016. All their songs have been immensely acclaimed, but none has compared to"As If It's Your Last", which graced the masses in Jun. 22, 2017. 

#2. TWICE with their track "CHEER UP"

TWICE dropped their hit track "CHEER UP" on Apr. 24, 2016, less than a year after their debut. "CHEER UP" was one of TWICEs songs that further propelled them to stardom.

#1. GFRIEND with their track "Me Gustas Tu"

Debuting under Source Music on Jul. 16, 2015, GFRIEND is one of the most famous K-pop groups that are active. The K-pop girl group has made a name for themself as they have released a lot of amazing songs. One of GFRIEND's hot tracks was "Me Gustas Tu," which was released on Jul. 23, 2015.
