‘WONDERLAND’ Fever: ATEEZ Are #1 In The First Round Of ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’
The most recent episode of Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" started with a bang as ATEEZ performed a notable performance of their song "WONDERLAND," mashing it with a theme pertaining to "Pirates of the Caribbean."
From that performance, KQ Entertainment's ATEEZ was able to attain the number one spot in the first ranking of the Kingdom.
To talk about ATEEZ attaining the number one spot, on the 16th of April, the K-pop boy group had an exclusive interview with the media corpse, Sports Chosun.
In the interview, ATEEZ shared that they wanted to show everyone who they are. For them, ever since their debut, they have promised each other to do their best in each, and every performance and ATEEZ attaining the number one spot in the initial round proved that.
ATEEZ talked about their worth ethic by saying that they are really honored to have placed first in the initial round. For them, although they really treasure it, ATEEZ also learned a lot from the preparation process and had many chances to share serious thoughts with one another.
For the group, winning the top spot has become a good memory just from those experiences alone in Mnet's first round of Kingdom.
They also talked about their next performance. The boy group shared that for them to keep the momentum of ATEEZ winning the number one spot, they need to keep things interesting.
However, since they like all of the original songs so much, they really want to keep the group's original feeling intact, but since they need to put on a new performance, they're going to try to remake the song with their own unique vibe.
Ending the interview on a good note, ATEEZ went on to thank the other senior groups and that they're learning so much every week. Moreover, since they want to show everyone a performance that's even better than the last, they can consider the past ATEEZ as their rivals.
