BLACKPINK 'JUMP' Hits #1 Spotify Global - First K-pop Group With Three Chart-Toppers

BLACKPINK makes K-pop history while drawing 100,000 fans to sold-out SoFi Stadium concerts
BLACKPINK has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first K-pop act to secure three #1 hits on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global chart. Their latest single "JUMP" reached the top position on July 14, joining previous chart-toppers "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down" from 2022.
"JUMP" debuted with 9.3 million streams, making it the biggest streaming debut by any female artist on Spotify in 2025. The track initially landed at #2 on its release day July 11, earning 7.0 million first-day streams, before climbing to the top spot.
The song surpassed previous 2025 records, including Sabrina Carpenter's "Manchild" (8.7 million streams) and dominated other K-pop releases by a significant margin. Additionally, "JUMP" topped iTunes charts in 60 countries and regions.
BLACKPINK sold out both nights at SoFi Stadium on July 12-13, becoming the first girl group to achieve consecutive sold-out shows at the venue with over 100,000 total attendees. The concerts marked their first North American performances in nearly three years.
Sunday's show featured a surprise appearance by Bruno Mars, who joined ROSÉ for a performance of their collaboration "APT." while wearing matching jackets.
The track represents a bold sonic shift for BLACKPINK, blending hardstyle elements with Western-style guitar riffs and the group's signature vocals. The song was written by TEDDY, Diplo, 24, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii and Jesse Bluu, and produced by Diplo, 24, Boaz Van De Beatz, Zecca and Ape Drums.
The DEADLINE World Tour spans 31 shows across 16 cities, marking BLACKPINK's first all-stadium tour that began July 5 in Goyang, South Korea and will conclude January 25, 2026 in Hong Kong.
Upcoming dates include Chicago (July 18), Toronto (July 22-23), New York (July 26-27), followed by European stops in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, and London. The tour then continues through Asia with shows in Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, and Tokyo.
The achievements demonstrate BLACKPINK's continued global dominance as they balance individual success with group activities, cementing their position as the world's leading K-pop girl group.
