Fans And Netizens Furious After SM Entertainment Forgets NCT’s Taeyong In Recent Promotions

Netizens recently become outraged as SM Entertainment seems to have forgotten NCT's Taeyong in recent promotions.

The merch store of SM Entertainment, SM Town and Store, recently released a line of socks featuring K-op idols under the agency. 

The socks are part of SM Entertainment's SMile line. This line is a line of products that give back a percentage of the profits to a charity. For this promotion, the socks will directly support young children in the country of Vietnam, more specifically children who yearn to learn music.

SM Entertainment's active K-pop idols were given a pair of socks to take photos with for the agency's official Instagram account. 

Among the idols include the K-pop groups Super Junior, SHINee, Girls' Generation, TVXQ, Red Velvet, NCT Dream, and NCT 127.

All the K-pop groups featured their members (except for a select few that were missing multiple members) except for NCT 127, where NCT 127 was missing Taeyong. Fans were able to notice that NCT's Taeyong was missing from SM Entertainment's post. 

It was given that groups such as EXO and Super Junior were lacking some of their members, it was obvious that Taeyong was missing from NCT 127 since he was the only one not featured.

NCT 127's Taeyong's fans are trying to coordinate a mass event to ask SM Entertainment to post Taeyong's photograph so that he will be included in their promotions. 

Sadly, this is not the first time netizens pointed out to SM Entertainment for "unfair treatment" towards NCT 127's Taeyong. 

Not long ago, Taeyong's fans have also previously organized to send multiple emails to SM Entertainment due to the agency failing to promote him in their social media posts properly.

SM Entertainment has not responded to the issue yet, but it can be seen on their Instagram post that fans are not taking them, forgetting NCT 127's Taeyong lightly.
