Kim Sejeong And TWICE’s Jihyo Goes Deep And Personal In tvN’s ‘On & Off’

Earlier this week, former I.O.I and Gugudan member, Kim Sejeong, appeared on tvN's show "On & Off," and the idol had a special guest alongside her. 

The special guest being no one other than TWICE's very own Jihyo. The two talented ladies ate to their heart's content, drank alcohol, and shared their past experiences and regrets early on in their careers in the K-pop industry. 

As the show progressed, Sejeong and Jihyo discussed their previous woes. Jihyo went on to say that it is a shame that she could not play (like other kids) properly because of her practice. Jihyo went on to recall that she only played a few times with children after school. This all occurred while she was a trainee.

TWICE's Jihyo came early on as a trainee, starting her training when she was only in elementary. 

Jihyo also went on to say that she felt like everything was an obligation. Taking lessons in vocal and in dance was something Jihyo was not really feeling.

But now, seeing TWICE blossom into one of the most well-known K-pop groups in the industry, Jihyo also felt happy that she chased her dreams early on. 

On the other end, Sejeong trained less than 2 years, about 1 year and a half approximately, before she made her debut when she was already 20 years of age. The idol, in turn, shared how grateful she was due to this.

Kim Sejeong also went on to share what she did before becoming an idol. Before becoming a K-pop idol, Sejeong decided that she should go to a club. Unfortunately, Sejeong did not have a nice time in the club as she shared that she did not enjoy not being able to hear things clearly. 

In the moment, the former I.O.I and Gugudan member looked back and thought to herself on things that troubled her. Such as not being able to perform in the industry anymore. Sejeong shared that she was worried about not being able to sing for the rest of her life because of her having constant fun only.

Hilariously, even though this was the case, Sejeong went on to say that she went to a club again not long after. She even said that she brought earplugs with her. This made Jihyo and the other staff laugh. Sejeong has not been in a club since, she shared.

Looking back, both the idols have come a long way now and are now very grateful for being where they are now.
