The Best Selling K-Pop Albums Of All Time, Find Out If Your Favorite Is On The List
The best way to measure a K-pop group's success and popularity is through their album sales.
In recent times, K-pop albums have been going off the shelves and selling for millions of copies. But there will always be albums that reach the top of the sales list.
Back in 2010, the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) released to the public the Gaon Music Chart, the job of which is to tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs or albums in South Korea. Since then, it has also been tracking sales.
In recent years, the Gaon Music Chart started to certify records for the K-pop album market, and currently, there are now tracked records on album sales. The list of which can be seen here.
For this list, K-pop album sales from multiple album editions, such as repackaged versions and special editions, have been added to the list.
