Director Of ‘Squid Game’ Confirms That Lee Jung Jae & Lee Byung Hun Will Comeback For Second Season
Are you ready for the second season of "Squid Game"?
To the delight of netizens and K-drama fans, the director of Netflix's hit show "Squid Game" Hwang Dong Hyuk has gone on to reveal a 'spoiler' about the characters who are returning for the second season of the show.
As per media outlets, director Hwang Dong Hyuk was a part of the panelist at the Deadline Contenders Television in L.A. The "Squid Game" director shared, "Gihun will of course return for season two. He will return and I also believe that frontman will too".
Hearing this, fans can assume that Gihun, played by actor Lee Jung Jae, and the Front Man, played by actor Lee Byung Hun, will come back for the second season of "Squid Game."
Though there were many rumors and speculations that Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun will reprise their roles in season two, this is the first time that director Hwang Dong Hyuk officially confirmed it in public.
Adding to this, it was also revealed that Director Hwang also mentioned the possibility that Jung Ho Yeon might return in the second season of "Squid Game" as the evil twin sister of her character, Kang Sae Byeok.
"I hope that projects like 'Squid Game' have helped open the door a bit. I hope that American audiences will have an opportunity to watch it while reading subtitles without dubbing. We hope that opportunity will open up," Director Hwang Dong Hyuk also added.
