Director Wants Jung Hoyeon To Return To ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 As Saebyok’s Twin!
Hwang Donghyuk, the director of "Squid Game," recently revealed that Korean model-turned-actress Jung Hoyeon may return as the twin of Saebyok (the character she played in the Netflix series).
In a recent interview, director Hwang Donghyuk shared his thoughts on making the 2nd season of Netflix's hit series "Squid Game"!
"There is nothing to see just yet, but I'm working hard on ideas for the next season. There will be more great games, that's all I can say. I'm just still brainstorming and collecting ideas for 'Squid Game: Season 2'. I haven't even started with the writing yet," Hwang Donghyuk revealed.
Hwang Donghyuk was then asked if fans can expect to see some cast members returning to the 2nd season of "Squid Game." Hwang responded while chuckling, "No, because most of them are dead. But I'll try something to bring them back to the second season."
Seeing actress Jung Hoyeon who played the character of Kang Saebyeok in "Squid Game," Hwang Donghyuk noted, "Let's say maybe she has a twin sister, you'll see."

Furthermore, when actress Jung Hoyeon heard what the "Squid Game" director said, the actress laughed and explained, "I could change my hair color. I'll get some plastic surgery done as well."
Concluding the quick interview, director Hwang Donghyuk was then asked if he was surprised by the popularity of "Squid Game." Hwang Donghyuk revealed that no one expected that amount of success.

"I tried hard to make a successful series but never expected this much success. It's a surprise," "Squid Game" director explained.
