Just recently on the 9th of February, Red Velvet's Seulgi celebrated her 29th birthday, the K-pop idol's Korean age, and to commemorate this, she filmed a vlog that documented how she celebrated her birthday day to share with ReVeluvs, the fandom name of Red Velvet.

In Red Velvet Seulgi's birthday vlog, the K-pop idol prepared a meal consisting of beef bulgogi, seaweed soup, and rice. With her to celebrate this occasion was her cousin.

While Seulgi and her cousin were eating, the Red Velvet member's cousin asked the K-pop idol if she knew about the perilla or sesame leaf debate.

Notably in a meal, the perilla or the sesame leaves are often stuck together. The debate is regarding whether or not it is okay to separate the leaves for someone who is not the person's partner or significant other.

Red Velvet Seulgi's cousin asked, "Seulgi, did you hear about that? The perilla leaf debate?"

Red Velvet's Seulgi shared that she has heard of the debate, and the K-pop idol explained that she would not mind if her partner or significant other separates the leaves for someone else.

"Yes. I wouldn't care. I just think it's fine to help someone out with that. It's fine as long as you don't send some strange signal," Red Velvet's Seulgi responded.

When the K-pop idol's cousin asked her to further explain what a special or strange signal means, Red Velvet's Seulgi adorably gave a cute 'look' and added 'like I care for you'. Seulgi then said that it is okay if they are doing it to be nice.

"But to be considerate, I guess you can do it," Red Velvet's Seulgi added.

This shows that although Red Velvet's Seulgi is fine with her partner or significant other on being nice for as long as there is no malicious intentions.
