Did Somi Ghost Chaeyoung? TWICE Member Reveals That Soloist Hasn’t Responded To Her Special Message!

In a recently uploaded video on the K-pop girl group's YouTube channel entitled "TWICE REALITY 'TIME TO TWICE' TWICE New Year 2022 EP.01," the members of JYP Entertainment's TWICE said hello to 2022 by having a friendly competition against one another with multiple challenges.
Among the challenges were flipping bottles, guessing celebrities, and tasting ramen. But a specific challenge caught the attention of netizens and K-pop fans. Notably, the first challenge TWICE had to do was to text someone a New Year's greeting and get one back in return.
The challenge was fun for the K-pop idols as the first TWICE member to receive a reply would win the initial game.
Adorably, while the other members sent messages to their family members such as their siblings or parents, TWICE's Jihyo sent one to their manager, and TWICE's Chaeyoung went on to message K-pop soloist Somi.
TWICE is close with Somi as she was a former JYP Entertainment trainee. The TWICE member that is closest to the K-pop soloist is known to be Chaeyoung. Thus, the TWICE member expected Somi to respond but hilariously got the opposite result.

When the first challenge ended, TWICE's Chaeyoung went on to complain that she did not even get a response from Somi. The K-pop idol added that Somi was not even that busy these days, making the other members chuckle.
Regardless, even though Somi did not respond to TWICE's Chaeyoung, their friendship is known to be one of the closest in the K-pop industry.
