BTS, Stray Kids, Lee Jung Jae, Kim Seon Ho, and More Win Big At The 2021 Asian Artists Awards
K-Pop groups BTS, NCT 127, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, and aespa, as well as actors Lee Jung Jae, Lee Seung Gi, and Yoo Ah In, win big at the 2021 Asian Artists Awards.
2021 AAA was held at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul at 6 pm KST on the 2nd of December. The awards ceremony was held on-tact to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The '2021 AAA' grand prizes are "Song of the Year," "Actor of the Year," "Actor of the Year - TV Category," "Actor of the Year - Movie Category," "Album of the Year," "Trot of the Year," "Performance of the Year," "Singer of the Year," and "Stage of the Year."
First of all, BTS, who won the grand prize in the "Song of the Year" category, was not able to attend the awards ceremony in person as they have been staying for their concert held at Sophie Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, since the 27th of November.

Through a recorded video, the BTS members said, "Thank you that 'Butter' was selected as the best song among the songs released this year. Thank you to the fans who loved us. I hope that 'Butter' will become a song that will be remembered by many people in the future."
After receiving the grand prize in the "Actor of the Year" category, "Squid Game" star Lee Jung Jae said, "Thank you for giving me such a big award. The success of 'Squid Game' is like a miracle. I want to share the glory with the actors, staff as well as the audience around the world who loved it."

"Actor of the Year - TV Category" winner Lee Seung Gi said, "I think the reason I was able to receive good reviews while doing 'Mouse' this year was because I worked with good actors. Debuting in 2004, I have been walking the path of an actor until now. There are a lot of things I regret, but I am grateful to the fans who supported me since then."
After being called the winner of the "Actor of the Year - Movie Category," Yoo Ah In said, "I participated in a relatively small film called 'Silent', and I received a big trophy. I will try my best to become an actor who can approach the core of the film."
NCT 127, who won "Album of the Year" said, "We know that the fans put their hearts, spent time, and shared love until the we received a meaningful and good award. We will return that love with a good performance. We will work hard in the future."

Lim Young Woong, the winner of the "Trot of the Year" category, expressed his gratitude saying, "I am grateful to receive four awards. There are people who are more dedicated to our traditional music than me, and I think I received this award on their behalf."
Stray Kids, who lifted the "Performance of the Year" trophy, said, "Thank you to our company, family and fans. In the future, we will show a good influence as much as the weight of this award."
SEVENTEEN, who won the "Singer of the Year" category, said, "We are truly happy as a team that is loved and can give love to many people while promoting. We will not take this award for granted and will continue to work as a team that shows good performances."
aespa, who took home the "Stage of the Year" award, said, "Thank you fans. It has been over a year since we debuted, and we wish you all the best in the future. We wish we could be together forever. As we received a big award, we will become an aespa who works harder in the future with a sense of responsibility rather than a sense of pressure."
In addition, the U+Idol Live Popularity Award was won by BTS, Lim Young Woong, IU, Jung Ho Yeon, and Kim Seon Ho (actor).

Meanwhile, the Rookie of the Year award, which can only be received once in a lifetime, went to aespa, ENHYPHEN, and actor Lee Do Hyun.
