K-pop girl group IVE has achieved another streaming milestone in Japan as their 2022 hit "After LIKE" surpassed 200 million cumulative streams on Billboard Japan's chart.

According to Starship Entertainment and Billboard Japan on November 23, the title track from IVE's third single album reached the 200 million stream mark based on the chart's official streaming count. This achievement makes "After LIKE" the group's third song to hit this milestone, joining debut track "ELEVEN" and second single "LOVE DIVE."

Released on August 22, 2022, "After LIKE" blends EDM, pop, and house music built on a kick rhythm foundation. The track famously interpolates Gloria Gaynor's 1978 disco classic "I Will Survive." Upon release, the song dominated Korean music charts, achieving a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) and collecting 14 music show wins.

The song also performed strongly on Billboard's global charts. "After LIKE" spent 17 weeks on the Billboard Global 200, peaking at number 20, and charted for 25 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, reaching number nine at its highest position.

IVE's Dominance in Japan

Since officially debuting in Japan in 2022, IVE has built substantial momentum in the market. The group performed at Tokyo Dome on September 4-5, 2024, as the finale of their first world tour "SHOW WHAT I HAVE," drawing over 95,000 fans across two sold-out nights.

In April 2024, IVE held their "IVE SCOUT" IN JAPAN fan concert tour, performing 11 shows across four cities and attracting approximately 100,000 attendees. In July 2025, their third Japanese EP "Be Alright" topped Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales chart, alongside claiming number one positions on Oricon's weekly album rankings and Tower Records charts.

Most recently in September 2025, IVE performed at Rock in Japan Festival 2025, one of Japan's four major rock festivals. The group has also made multiple appearances on prominent Japanese broadcasts, including NHK's music program "Venue 101" and TBS's variety show featuring Snow Man.

Second World Tour Underway

IVE recently launched their second world tour "SHOW WHAT I AM" with three sold-out shows at Seoul's KSPO Dome on October 31, November 1, and November 2, 2024. The tour will continue across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania, following the success of their first world tour which attracted over 420,000 fans across 19 countries and 37 shows.

The six-member group-An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo-debuted in December 2021 and has since established themselves as one of K-pop's leading fourth-generation girl groups. Their consistent chart performance and growing international presence continue to cement what fans call the "IVE syndrome" phenomenon.
