Netizens Saddened As Sorn Announces Her Departure From CLC And Cube Entertainment!

Today, the 16th of November, is a sad day for Cheshires, fandom name of CLC, as Sorn has officially left CLC and Cube Entertainment. The K-pop girl group debuted on the 19th of March, 2015, under the label Cube Entertainment.

Earlier this day, CUBE Entertainment released a statement regarding Sorn's status in the agency. The label's announcement is as follows:

"Hello.

This is Cube Entertainment.

This is an announcement that our exclusive contract with Sorn has been terminated.

As her exclusive contract has ended, she has also left CLC.

This decision was made following mutual discussion.

We express gratitude to the fans who have cherished Sorn until now.

Please show warm support and encouragement for Sorn's new start.

Thank you."

Following this, Sorn personally confirmed the news with multiple posts on her social media pages. In her posts, Sorn noted that she and CUBE Entertainment both mutually agreed to part ways.

Sorn revealed, "I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting me and everything I've done with CLC." Sorn then expressed that for the past 10 years, she has learnt a lot from her whole experience, emotionally sharing that she has met six wonderful girls who have become her second family in Korea.

"I'm so proud of all the achievements we have accomplished together as a team and I've enjoyed every single moment with them through our ups and downs. I wish my girls all the best and I will support them in everything they do," Sorn explained.

Currently, Sorn is now the second member of CLC to leave this group in 2021 following Elkie. Previously, both Yujin and Sorn have confirmed that the K-pop group will no longer be doing any promotions.
