ARMYs & MYs Cheer As Both BTS and aespa Win Big At The 2021 MTV EMAs!
To the delight of their respective fandoms, HYBE's premiere K-pop boy group BTS and SM Entertainment's rookie K-pop girl group aespa both took home awards at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards (2021 MTV EMAs)!
As of writing this article, yesterday, on the 14th of November local time, MTV held their yearly Europe Music Awards (EMAs), which was held in Budapest this year, to the delight of European music fans.

Notably, HYBE's BTS was the biggest winner of the night as they won all four awards for which they were nominated and even got the most trophies of any artist this year for the 2021 MTV EMA.
To the delight of ARMYs, the fandom name of BTS, BTS won in the categories for Best Group, Best Pop, and Biggest Fans, and even the new award for Best K-Pop, where BTS was nominated alongside BLACKPINK's Lisa, MONSTA X, NCT 127, BLACKPINK's Rosé, and TWICE were also nominated.

At the other end of the spectrum, SM Entertainment's monster rookie group aespa took home the award for Best Korean Act after being nominated with CRAVITY, STAYC, Weeekly, and WEi.
Karina, Giselle, Winter, and NingNing of aespa have been taking South Korean by storm, and it seems as though SM Entertainment's rookie K-pop group is ready to branch out to global acclaim.

Both BTS and aespa are huge names in the K-pop industry, and both netizens and fans are not surprised that the two were able to garner special awards at the 2021 MTV EMA.
