BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Singapore: Dec. 1-31 Dates and Shows

BTS will run a month-long, city-wide project in Singapore from Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, the longest edition of "THE CITY ARIRANG" so far. The group announced "BTS THE CITY ARIRANG - SINGAPORE" on Weverse on Monday.

The project is a collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board, which described it as the largest city-wide project it has done with a single artist, allkpop reported. The National Gallery Singapore, the National Museum of Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa are among the participating landmarks. It is the first "THE CITY ARIRANG" in Southeast Asia.

"THE CITY" projects fill the cities on the ARIRANG world tour with the album's music and story. The series began in Seoul, where it ran March 20 to April 12, and has since been staged in Las Vegas, Busan, London and New York. In Las Vegas, which ran May 20 to 31, The Strip and digital marquees were lit in the album's red color scheme.

The Singapore edition opens 16 days before BTS's first show in the city and runs nine days past the last. BTS plays the National Stadium on Dec. 17, 19, 20 and 22, with shows starting at 7 p.m. Four nights is the group's longest Asian stop outside Korea and Japan, according to the tourism board and promoter Live Nation Singapore. It is also the first time in seven years that the full group has played Singapore; the last visit was the Love Yourself tour in January 2019.

Singapore ticket prices ran from S$148 to S$388 before booking fees, and sales went through Ticketmaster Singapore, with an ARMY Membership presale on June 3, a Live Nation presale on June 4 and general sale on June 5. The coverage reviewed does not say whether seats remain. Klook, the official experience partner for the Singapore shows, has sold packages that pair concert tickets with attractions such as the Night Safari and Universal Studios Singapore since June 5.

The tourism board has been building toward this since January, when it announced the four-night run on Jan. 14 and noted that BTS has played Singapore several times since 2014.
