Notably, this will be another Korean album. But what if TWICE releases an all-English album in the near future?
JYP Entertainment's TWICE recently shared that they are interested in releasing an album that is solely in English, but the members expressed that it will all depend on a handful of factors.
In a recent interview with Forbes, the JYP Entertainment K-pop girl group talked about their first-ever English single entitled "The Feels" and whether or not their new song is a preview of a possible English album from TWICE.
TWICE's "The Feels", dropped on the 1st of October is TWICE's first-ever song to enter the Billboard Hot 100, placing 83rd for the week of the 16th of October. The TWICE track also made its debut at Number 80 on the UK Singles Charts for the week spanning on the 8th-14th of October.
"I would say that we are all ready and prepared all the time for an album or an EP, so whenever we will find the opportunity, releasing an EP or album is always a possibility," TWICE's Nayeon expressed.
TWICE's Sana then added that the chances of TWICE's English album will all depend on how their single, "The Feels," is taken by the public, primarily seeing the response they will get globally. "It'll be great if we can get the opportunity to do so," Sana remarked.
Furthermore, in the interview with Forbes, JYP Entertainment's TWICE also talked about expanding to the United States and how "The Feels" is a chance for ONCEs and netizens in the West to get to know TWICE in a better way, beyond their Korean hits.
"I think a lot of people in the US are curious about us, but they were not able to get to know us well because of the language barrier, but now that we released an English single, it'll be an opportunity for them to get to know us," TWICE's leader, Jihyo explained.
