Disney, Marvel and Sony's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" will be dropped this year and fans cannot wait as it is the most highly-anticipated movie of 2021. Due to this, multiple rumors, assumptions, and theories have been circulating online, adding more fuel to the fire of hype.

Notably, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" might even be the most ambitious superhero of all time. But according to Benedict Cumberbatch, the sorcerer supreme himself, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" might actually be bigger than Spider-Man 3.

As known to most, the first trailer for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" teased that the main villains will be the Sinister Six which are from both the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb 'timelines' and moreover, fans speculate that Benedict Cumberbatch's Dr. Strange might be someone else.

Due to this, Tom Holland claimed that "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was the most ambitious standalone superhero movie that has ever been made. Fans were quick to believe him as Marvel might be going all in for the upcoming movie.

But Benedict Cumberbatch himself does not believe Holland's statement as in a recent interview, Cumberbatch revealed that Tom Holland's claims are true but only "until Doctor Strange 2 comes out".

This means that although "Spider-Man: No Way Home" can still be the most ambitious superhero movie of all time, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" might take that title right after.

But only time will tell as "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is slated to drop on the 17th of December this year and "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" releasing on the 25th of March next year.

Regardless, "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" will surely be two MCU movies that everyone should look out for as the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will drastically change moving forward.
