Only half will remain in the next elimination episode of Mnet's "Girls Planet 999"!

As per recent reports, Mnet has changed the voting method for Mnet's "Girls Planet 999." Voting will now be done via individual voting and will no longer continue cell voting. This will immediately take place once the second global voting begins.

September 3 marked the day Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" had their first survival announcement ceremony. In it, only 54 out of the initial 99 contestants made it past the eliminations to follow through on the second mission. The remaining participants must show how much they want to debut in the next mission.

Notably, the global voting for Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" started on "Universe," the official platform of the show.

In "Universe," the viewers and fans can vote for the contestants they are cheering for. Moreover, fans could vote for a total of nine people, which is three each from groups K, C, and, J. The results of the voting will be composed of a total vote of 50% from Korea and 50% from other countries.

Now in the upcoming second round of voting, fans can now vote for a total of 30 people and 10 members from each group will then be eliminated.

Like in the previous elimination round, the show masters will be able to give 'Planet Passes' to three contestants that, for them, deserve to be on "Girls Planet." As mentioned above, approximately 27 contestants will push through to the next mission.

Stay tuned for more updates on Mnet's "Girls Planet 999"!

Previously on the 3rd of September, Mnet's "Girls Planet 999" had their first elimination round and it was completely brutal as the show eliminated 45 contestants, and in the first elimination round the 'cells' either got eliminated together or as a group.
