SWITHs Greeted With Amazing news As STAYC Officially Becomes A Part of Weverse!
STAYC, previously known as HIGHUP Girls is a 6-member K-pop girl group signed under the agency High Up Entertainment. The 6 STAYC members are Sieun, Seeun, Sumin, J, Isa and Yoon.
Notably, High Up Entertainment's STAYC made their debut on the 12th of November, 2020 with their first single album "Star To A Young Culture" making them a relatively young K-pop girl group but they already have made their mark in the K-pop industry.
Previously, it was reported that STAYC is planning to add more laurels under their belt as they were confirmed to be making a comeback very soon.
A couple of days ago on the 4th of August, a Korean news media outlet went on to report that High Up Entertainment's STAYC is finally in the final stages of preparation for a new album that is scheduled to be released in early September. This means that STAYC is returning next month!
An insider from High Up Entertainment, STAYC's agency, went on to report, "STAYC is getting ready for a comeback. They have finished filming their music video, but the specific comeback date is undecided."
Currently, High Up Entertainment's STAYC is one of the most highly-anticipated rookie K-pop girl groups to drop a comeback. Thus, the previous confirmation of STAYC releasing a comeback this September truly has their fans hyped up.
But it seems as though this is not the only thing that SWITHs (the fandom name of STAYC) will look forward to.
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 8th of August, Weverse, the global fan community platform, went on to announce on their Twitter that High Up Entertainment's STAYC is slated to be a part of Weverse today, on the 9th of August!
Weverse announced:
"STAYC, a fast growing global rookie with glamorous look and catchy songs, lands on Weverse on August 9, at noon. Now, stay a step closer with #STAYC on #Weverse."
