Is The Wait For Red Velvet’s Comeback Finally Over? Here’s The Most Recent Update
As of writing this article, today on the 26th of July, SM Entertainment's Red Velvet made an update on their Instagram, which made fans extremely excited as this might be alluring to their coming and highly-anticipated comeback.
The changes for Red Velvet's Instagram account were a lot and among them is their new account name, being "Queens Mystic General Store." Another change is their profile photo which is a cat with one blue and orange eye each.
The caption "You can find 'NEW YOU' in here" can also now be seen on Red Velvet's Instagram's biography. Furthermore, 5 new pinned stories with the categories "Queens," "Merchandise," "Welcome," "Invitation," and "Beyond Queens."
Moreover, the "Invitation" pinned story contains 5 videos where a poster for Red Velvet's "store" is the main attraction. In the poster were 5 tabs with each Red Velvet members' name on them. As the videos continue, each member, Yeri, Joy, Seulgi, Irene, and Wendy, pulls a tab.
Additionally, on Red Velvet's Seulgi's video, she might be on Red Velvet's "Russian Roulette" set as she had orange hair and tennis balls. Thus, fans are speculating that Red Velvet's comeback might be a remake album.
To put the nail in the coffin, on Red Velvet's official YouTube page, a video entitled "Queens Archive - Red Velvet 레드벨벳 'Somethin Kinda Crazy" was posted. The clip, lasting 1 minute and 18 seconds, featured the song "Somethin Kinda Crazy" from Red Velvet's "Ice Cream Cake," their 2015 mini album.
In the clip, Red Velvet seems to be playing with a track, which fans assume is a remaster of their previous songs. Speculations point towards a release of a comeback on Red Velvet's 7th anniversary which is on the 1st of August.
Nothing has been confirmed yet by SM Entertainment but one thing is for sure, ReVeluvs no longer have to wait that long for the return of their 5 queens; Red Velvet!
