aespa Proves Yet Again They Are ‘Next Level’ Rookies In Latest Achievement
No one is doing it like SM Entertainment's aespa. The rookie girl group is breaking record after record and is set to dominate the K-pop scene. Their recent achievement is solid proof!
It's hard for rookies to enter the top 10 K-Pop girl group rankings, let alone snatch the top spot. After all, two of the biggest girl groups, BLACKPINK and TWICE, as well as the trending Brave Girls are all huge names in the industry with impressive statistics. Despite the tough competition, rookie girl group aespa managed to secure first place for July's top girl group brand rankings.
Beating the biggest names in the industry, aespa bagged the first spot for the second time in a row with their brand index of 3,553,551. The four-membered girl group composed of Karina, Winter, Giselle, and NingNing was also the only rookie in the Top 10.
Following behind the SM Entertainment rookie girl group is Brave Girls with a brand index of 3,299,237. For quite a while, Brave Girls took home the first spot in the rankings after the sudden rise to popularity of their song "Rollin'." Recently, Brave Girls came back with a new summer bop!
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK saw a 43.25% dip in their brand reputation index after scoring 1,998,593 for the month of July. Although it has been a while since BLACKPINK's full group comeback, the group is set to release a movie very soon. BLACKPINK member Lisa is also said to be gearing up for her upcoming solo debut.
Completing the top 5 are TWICE and Girls Generation who placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
Here are the top 30 K-Pop girl groups for the month of July.
