Here’s What We Know About MARVEL’s ‘The Marvels’, Including Park Seo Joon, So Far
Not long ago, it was announced that South Korean superstar, Park Seo Joon is going to be a part of the MCU as he has been cast in the sequel for "Captain Marvel," "The Marvels."
Notably, "The Marvels" is diverging paths from the first movie, but in a good way. The first "Captain Marvel" movie dwelled on the war between the Skrulls and the Kree. Both being aliens with human-like features. Between all of that is Brie Larson's "Captain Marvel," being the hero and savior.
The sequel "The Marvels" is going to be directed by the MARVEL Cinematic Universe's newcomer, Nia DaCosta. DaCosta is MARVEL's first female African-American female director. To add to that, "The Marvels" is scheduled to be released next year on the 11th of November.
The sequel, however, being "The Marvels," will no longer let Captain Marvel be alone as she will be joined by a full-fledged team. "The Marvels" now has Ms. Marvel who will be played by Iman Vellani. Notably, Ms. Marvel will make her debut on the small screen this year.
Beyond Ms. Marvel, also known as Kamala Khan, Monica Rambeau (aka Spectrum) will be introduced as she will be played by Teyonah Parris. Monica Rambeau previously appeared in the first movie as a kid and was later shown on Disney+'s "WandaVision" but now as an adult.
Moreover, Brie Larson herself will continue the mantle of Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel). Brie Larson herself previously confirmed that "The Marvels" will begin filming soon, thus why she will be showing less activity on her YouTube channel.
No further details have been released yet but fans are excited for what the sequel to "Captain Marvel" has to bring to the table.
